June 16th 2015, marks the launch of Divine Ceremony – we are very excited to be launching right in the middle of Bristol’s Big Green Week !

The Event will take place at MShed – right in the heart of Bristol’s Harbourside. We will be bringing a handmade willow coffin up harbour for the start of the event – to dock outside Arnolfini – and it will then make its way up to the roof top terrace for the launch ceremony. The national Home Funeral Network, will also be launching at the same event. The HFN offers support, education and guidance for all those involved in arranging a home based, family led funeral within the UK.

Death is a difficult subject to broach, but no less important for that. Dee Ryding, founder of Divine Ceremony is passionate about encouraging a dialogue about this one certainty that awaits us all, and is proud to be launching from Bristol – a city with a rich history of innovation and a consistent champion for change and progress.

Divine Ceremony will offer a return to the traditional way of caring for our dead – with respect for our loved ones and the environment.
